Harry, looking dapper in a classic black suit and white shirt, took to the stage with Megan looking stunning in a white, figure-hugging dress beside him. He started by thanking the individuals who introduced him, then he sincerely conveyed his "deepest gratitude" to everyone at the Pat Tillman Foundation with heartfelt appreciation. He thanked the Tillman family, especially Mary Tillman, who had previously criticised the event for honouring the 'controversial' Harry.

In his speech, the Duke said, "Her advocacy for Pat's legacy is deeply personal and I respect that. The bond between a mother and son is eternal and transcends even the greatest loss," reports Mirror US. Tillman, a respected man, tragically lost his life in an accidental fire in Afghanistan two decades ago. Harry has faced heavy criticism for accepting the ESPN award in memory of the deceased soldier and NFL athlete, with warnings that it could lead to "very bad publicity".
